Pinaka is a multiple rocket launcher produced in India by Defense Research and Development Organization for the Indian Army.The System has a range around 39 km and can launch 12 rockets within seconds, the whole system is mounted on a Tatra truck, the whole system is microprocessor-based fully automatic positioning and fire control console, it gained huge reputation after success in the kargil war.

A Pinaka Battery consist of : 6 launcher vehicles each of these vehicle consist of 12 rockets, 6 loader vehicles, 3 replenishment vehicles, two command post vehicle along with fire control computer and the
DIGICORA MET radar. A battery of six launchers can neutralize an area of 1000 m x 800 m.
